St. Norbert Falls at Washington University

ST. LOUIS - St. Norbert College dropped the final game of a three-game series at Washington (Mo.) University by a score of 25-13 at Kelly Field.

The Bears (20-6) scored in seven of their eight at-bats and banged out 24 hits, with 10 going for extra bases. St. Norbert (6-6) had 17 hits, with eight going for extra bases, but compounded problems with nine defensive errors.

St. Norbert fell behind 10-1 through three innings before scoring three runs in the fourth, two in the fifth. five in the sixth and two more in the seventh to pull within 20-13. Washington scored twice in the seventh and three times in the eighth to close out the win.

Garrick Fisher had three hits for St. Norbert, while Troy Rottier was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and a trible. Jordan Powers was 2-for-5 wtih two doubles, while Jose Godinez was 2-for-6 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Alex Larsen was 2-for-4 off the bench.

Travis Mason took the loss on the mound for the Green Knights.
