Schudrowitz Shines at St. Norbert Twilight

DE PERE - St. Norbert College's Emily Schudrowitz led the Green Knights with a pair of wins at the St. Norbert Twilight at Schneider Stadium. It was the Green Knights' first on-campus outdoor track and field meet since 1980.

Northern Michigan won the meet with 85 points, while St. Norbert was second with 56 points. Michigan Tech was third with 36 points.

Schudrowitz handily won the 400- and 800-meter runs. She turned in a time of 59.08 seconds to win the 400 by over three seconds. Schudrowitz's time of 2:19.30 in the 800 was a winning mark by over 5 1/2 seconds.

Amanda Whipple won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:53.85. The St. Norbert 4x400-meter relay squad won by over nine seconds with a time of 4:08.35.

Elvia Martinez was first in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:57.04. Erika Quinn was second with a time of 12:27.79.

Kelsey Timm was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:44.22. Mara Aparnieks was second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.77 seconds. Andrea Bosman was second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.20. Megan Domnick placed second in the 200-meter dash in 27.70 seconds.

Courney Slak was second in the long jump (16 feet 10 inches) and triple jump (34-10 1/4).
