Green Knights Fall to Grinnell

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College dropped a non-conference dual match to Grinnell College by a 7-2 score at the Four Seasons Tennis Club.

The Green Knights jumped out to an early lead by getting two of the three points at stake in doubles place. Derek Harrington and Nick Acosta topped Elliott Czarnecki and Michael Cole at No. 1 doubles 8-6. Tim Hartwick and Matt Lobeck defeated Ishan Bhadkamkar and Benjamin Charney by an 8-6 count at No. 2 doubles.

The Pioneers responded with a sweep of the six singles matches. Harrington extended Czarnecki to three sets at No. 1 singles but lost 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.
