St. Norbert Splits Triangular

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College split a pair of dual matches in a triangular with Elmhurst College and UW-Oshkosh. The Green Knights (2-2) topped Elmhurst 7-2 in their first match of the day but fell to the Titans also by a 7-2 score.

The Green Knights took two of three doubles points against Elmhurst. Nancy Chybowski and Maria Slusarek beat Nicole Darga and Brittany Kuehn 8-4 and No. 1, followed by Maggie Berens and Emily Rasmussen with an 8-4 win over Ragan Wilson and McKennah Lloyd at No. 3.

Ariel Bloniarz defeated Darga 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, followed by Slusarek's 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Lauren Kuehn at No. 3. Lizza Tews topped Wilson 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4, and Berens defeated Brittany Kuehn 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5. Brittany Dudzik closed out the wins with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Lloyd at No. 6.

Against the Titans, Slusarek and Tews picked up the two St. Norbert wins. Slusarek defeated Valerie Langkau 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, and Tews bested Megan Etten 6-1, 7-6 at No. 4.
