Green Knights Place Sixth at Wisconsin Private Invite

BELOIT - St. Norbert College placed sixth at the Wisconsin Private College Invitational hosted by Beloit College at Leeson Park.

The Green Knights totaled 150 points. Carthage College won the meet with 71 points, while Ripon College was second with 79 points.

Lauren Janes finished 19th to lead the Green Knights with a time of 24:56. Liz Hietpas was 24th with a time of 25:10, while Erika Quinn was 31st with a time of 25:27. Emily Erickson placed 39th with a time of 25:49, and Jamie Karrels was 43rd overall in 26:01.

St. Norbert also ran at the UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne. The Green Knights finished 15th out of 37 teams with 460 points.

Amanda Whipple placed 60th with a time of 23:24, while Charlotte Walsh was 74th with a tie of 23:35. Elvia Martinez was 79th in 23:42, while Erin McShea was 123rd in 24:12. Hannah Andrekus finished one spot behind McShea while running the same time.
