Late Goal Sends St. Norbert to Loss

DE PERE - Adrian College scored a goal with 16 seconds remaining in regulation time to lift the Bulldogs to a 2-1 win over St. Norbert College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

Kelsey Kusch scored off a rebound at 19:44 of the third period for her 10th goal of the season and the game-winning goal.

St. Norbert (3-4-2, 2-4-1 NCHA) led 1-0 at 12:20 of the second period when Katie Conlon scored her first goal of the season on a 5-on-3 power-play goal.

Adrian (10-2, 7-2) scored the equalizer at 16:04 of the second period when Kusch scored from the doorstep to cash in on a 5-on-3 power-play opportunity.

St. Norbert outshot Adrian 28-19. Kaley Gibson made 17 saves for the Green Knights, while Brittany Zeches made 27 stops for the Bulldogs. St. Norbert was 1-for-5 on the power play, while Adrian was 1-for-4.
