DE PERE - St. Norbert College had a late rally back from a 15-point deficit but couldn't quite get over the hump and ended up succumbing 58-45 to UW-Oshkosh on Connie Tilley Court at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Green Knights (8-2) trailed 44-29 with 13:45 left in the game before going on a 16-4 run over the next 10:43 to get to within 48-45 with 3:02 remaining. The Titans (10-2) actually held a 48-34 lead with 7:35 left before an 11-0 run was fueled by six points from Tasha Giese and four from Krista Hawkinson.

Oshkosh answered with two straight baskets to take a 52-45 lead with 2:10 left on two Megan Wenig hoops to salt the game away.

St. Norbert shot an ice-cold 28.1 percent from the floor, making 18 of 64 field goals. The Green Knights were even colder from beyond the three-point arc, making just 1 of 16 (6.3 percent) shots. Giese finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds - including eight on the offensive end. Lauren Carman finished with 10 points.

Wenig led the Titans with 19 points. Sarah Stecker added 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Katelyn Kuehl canned 12 points. Oshkosh shot 40.5 percent (17-for-42) from the floor and was 20-for-24 (83.3 percent) at the free-throw line.
