Green Knights Take Fourth at St. Norbert Invite

DE PERE - The St. Norbert College men's golf team placed fourth at its own invitational at Mid-Vallee Golf Club. The Green Knights shot a 325, just five strokes behind co-champions Lawrence and Ripon.

Seth Oberschlake shot a 74 to finish as the meet runner-up. Wisconsin Lutheran's Denny Behm carded a 72 to claim medalist honors.

Gabe Dahl fired a 77, Steve Schroeder an 83, Brandon Panich 85, Michael Zera 91 and Brian Kuehl 93 to round out St. Norbert's contingent.

The previous day at the Lawrence University Invitational at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Hortonville, St. Norbert was eighth out of 13 teams with a 344.

Dahl and Oberschlake were tied for 15th with an 82. Kuehl and Zera both shot 90, while Schroeder had a 106.
