Green Knights Fall Late to UW-Superior

DE PERE - St. Norbert College yielded a late goal and fell to UW-Superior 2-1 in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Yellowjackets converted the game-winning goal when Haley Olmstead found the back of the net with 3:20 left in regulation. St. Norbert had an extra attacker on for the final 53 seconds, but couldn't find the equalizer.

Superior scored 3:12 into the game when Kiara De Kezel gave the visitor's a 1-0 lead. St. Norbert answered at 10:45 of the second period on an unassisted goal by Zoe Kurth.

Superior outshot St. Norbert 42-27. Kaley Gibson made 40 saves for the Green Knights, while Shanley Peters made 26 stops for the Yellowjackets. Both teams were 0-for-5 on the power play.
