STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College continued its white-hot play of late, winning for the eighth time in the last nine games with a 4-1 triumph over UW-Stevens Point. The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association win at Ice Hawks Arena marked the first win for the Green Knights over the Pointers.

St. Norbert (13-9-2, 11-7-1 NCHA) has clinched the No. 5 seeding in the NCHA O'Brien Cup Playoffs, and could move as high as No. 4 with a UW-Superior loss to winless Finlandia Saturday.

Following a scoreless first period, St. Norbert jumped ahead with a power-play goal by Danielle Rozen at the 4:45 mark of the second period. The Green Knights added to their lead with an unassisted goal at 13:09 of the frame for a 2-0 lead after two periods.

St. Norbert forged a 3-0 lead when Anderson scored 25 seconds into the third period, but the Pointers (11-10-3, 9-7-3) answered right back with a goal by Hailey Rock at 1:28 of the third period. Henriette Ostergaard's short-handed empty-net goal with 3:31 remaining in the game salted away the historic win for the Green Knights.

Andrea Senne had two assists for St. Norbert.

St. Norbert outshot Stevens Point 25-21. The Green Knights were 1-for-2 on the power play, while the Pointers were 0-for-3.
