Gries, Schwoerer Lead St. Norbert on All-MWC Team

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had two players earn All-Midwest Conference honors plus the Coach of the Year in league awards announced today.

Junior guard Brandon Gries was named first-team All-MWC for the second consecutive year, and sophomore forward Andrew Schwoerer was named second-team All-MWC. Coach Gary Grzesk was named MWC Coach of the Year.

Gries led St. Norbert in scoring at 14.4 points per game and also has a team-high 89 assists. Schwoerer, an honorable mention All-MWC choice last season, was second on the team at 13.4 points per game and is shooting 56.4 percent from the floor.

Grzesk earned his second MWC Coach of the Year honor after leading the Green Knights to their third MWC championship in four years. Grzesk's first MWC Coach of the Year honor came in 2010.

Ripon College senior guard Taylor Koth was named MWC Player of the Year.
