Trunzo Named St. Norbert Women's Hockey Assistant Coach

DE PERE - Amanda Trunzo has been named assistant women's ice hockey coach at St. Norbert College.
Trunzo, a former Dartmouth College standout, brings a decorated hockey resume to her position with the Green Knights. A 2011 graduate of Dartmouth, the Andover, Minn., native played in 124 career games with the Big Green, scoring 68 goals and 59 assists for 127 points. Trunzo was a Patty Kazmaier Award nominee during her sophomore season when she scored a career-high 22 goals and 42 points.
Trunzo was a standout at Benilde-St. Margaret's High School in suburban Minneapolis, scoring over 300 points in her prep career, and was a finalist for Minnesota Miss Hockey with the Red Knights. Following her collegiate career, Trunzo spent time on the girls' hockey coaching staff at Benilde-St. Margaret's.
