DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior Katie Vanden Avond put her name at the top of a couple of different record books in leading the Green Knights to a 6-0 non-conference win over Wisconsin Lutheran College at Schneider Stadium.

Vanden Avond tallied a hat trick, the 14th of her career. Vanden Avond set the St. Norbert career record for goals with her first marker, surpassing Sara Gross' 68 from 2001-04. Her third goal of the night set the Midwest Conference record for career goals, with Vanden Avond's career total of 71 topping Carroll University's Cody Callender, who had 70 from 2007 to 2010.

Zoe Kurth scored the Green Knights' first goal with a header off a corner kick from Elly Wiebusch at 23:43. Vanden Avond followed at 33:25 with a 20-yard shot with Jessica Heilmann assisting. Kurth scored her second goal of the night unassisted on a 20-yard shot at 34:50.

Shannon Jung put St. Norbert ahead 4-0 with shot from the right side, scoring unassisted at 61:59. Vanden Avond closed out the scoring with a pair of breakaway goals at 69:49 and 79:22. Kellan Zimmer and Katherine Oleniczak assisted, respectively.

St. Norbert (6-2-2) outshot the Warriors (2-6-1) by a 34-1 margin. Sarah Platzer made one save for the Green Knights, while Wisconsin Lutheran's Kate Gucinski made 17 stops.
