Green Knights Claim 11th Place at Roy Griak Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Norbert College finished in 11th place out of a 26-team field at the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course.

The Green Knights scored 349 points. UW-Eau Claire won the meet with 69 points, followed by UW-Oshkosh in second place with 76 points. Bethel University's Matt Berens won the 8-kilometer race with a time of 25:45.4. A total of 296 runners competed.

Nathan Heppe paced St. Norbert with a 49th-place finish in 27:44. Benny Swift was 60th with a time of 27:59.7. Michael Linzmeier placed 73rd with a time of 28:14.8, while Michael Heise was close behind in 74th place in 28:19.3.

Daniel Reigh was 93rd with a time of 28:47.1. Brady Bemis followed in 104th place at 28:59.2, while Alexander Clemetson was 105th in 28:59.8.
