St. Norbert Places Third at MWC Championship

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College placed third at the Midwest Conference Cross Country Championship hosted at Oakland Acres Golf Club by Grinnell College.

The Green Knights totaled 89 points. Grinnell College was the conference champion with 35 points. Lawrence University was second with 58 points. Grinnell's Frank Canady was the conference champion with an 8k time of 25:26.07.

Nathan Heppe was St. Norbert's top finisher with a time of 26:47.47 to finish in tenth place. Benny Swift was 17th in 27:03.94, while Michael Linzmeier was 19th in 27:07.62.

Michael Heise placed 21st with a time of 27:11.47, followed by Logan Jadin in 26th place with a time of 27:20.85. Daniel Reigh finished 29th with a time of 27:28.18, while Jaquan Grier rounded out the Green Knights' top seven with a 37th-place finish in 28:00.08.
