Green Knights Score Twice Late to Top Finlandia

HANCOCK, Mich. - St. Norbert College scored twice in the final nine minutes of the game to rescue a 3-2 win over Finlandia University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Houghton County Arena.
The Green Knights (4-0, 4-0 NCHA) saw themselves trailing the Lions 2-1 midway through the third period. St. Norbert tied the game at 2-2 when Michael Hill scored on assists from Erik Cooper and Cullen Bradshaw at the 11:08 mark of the third period.
St. Norbert pulled ahead on a goal by Bradshaw with Hill assisting with 2:03 remaining in the game.
The Green Knights scored the game's first goal when Patrick McCadden scored from Noah Nelson and Reid Campbell at 12:54 of the second period. Finlandia pushed ahead for a 2-1 lead on a pair of shorthanded goals by Shigenobu Kakudate at 17:39 and 19:35.
St. Norbert outshot Finlandia 32-18. St. Norbert was 0-for-6 on the power play, while Finlandia was 0-for-5. David Jacobson made 16 saves for the Green Knights, while Troy Chandler had 29 stops for the Lions.
