St. Norbert Runs Away From Field at Twilight Meet

DE PERE - St. Norbert College won an invitational meet for the fourth consecutive meet with a runaway performance at its own Twilight Meet at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights rolled up 236.5 points to easily take the team title. Ripon College was second with 103 points, while Lawrence University was third with 89 points.

St. Norbert swept the top three places in the 800-meter run. Brittany Kozlowski was first in the event with a time of 2:18.12, while Clarissa Jauregui was second in 2:25.54. Taylor Miller placed third at 2:27.66.

Jaclyn Kerner won the 400-meter dash in 59.18 seconds, while Kozlowski was third at 60.34 seconds. Taylor Wenzel claimed first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.21 seconds.

Hanna Andrekus won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:30.55, while Liz Hietpas was third in 12:56.84. Nicole Vanderlin won the high jump with a height of 5 feet 5 inches, while Samantha Morateck was third at 5-1.

Erin Lang took first place in the long jump at 17-0, and Kalee Luedtke was second at 16-10 1/2.

The 4x100-meter relay of Mara Aparnieks, Kerner, Lang and Liz LeCaptain won with a time of 50.11 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay quarter of Jolene Kerner, Kozlowski, Jaclyn Kerner and Jauregui won with a time of 4:10.05.

Elvia Martinez was second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:38.32.

Alyssa Price was third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:07.96. Luedtke was third in the triple jump at 34-6 1/4. Megan Crandell was third in the javelin throw with a toss of 94-0.
