Green Knights Stay Hot With Twilight Meet Win

DE PERE - St. Norbert College won its fourth consecutive meet with another dominating performance, this time on its home turf at the Twilight Meet at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights rolled up 221 points to easily outdistance runner-up Ripon College, which had 129 points. Milwaukee School of Engineering was third with 102.33 points.

St. Norbert swept the top three places in the 400-meter dash. Taylor Pasterski won the event with a time of 49.28 seconds, while Akeem Edmonds was second in 49.78 seconds. Austin Livingston finished third in 49.80 seconds.

Randy Hill won two field events. Hill took the long jump with a length of 21 feet 10 3/4 inches, and he also won the triple jump with a distance of 45-3 3/4.

In the discus, Evan Broyles took first with a heave of 133-7. Kenny Oxendorf was second with a distance of 128-10. Broyles was second in the shot put with a distance of 46-2 3/4.

Jack Feuerstein won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.63 seconds. Andrew Hull was second with a time of 59.37 seconds.

Both relays won their races. The 4x400-meter relay of Tyler Lewis, Ryan Grandlic, Livingston and Pasterski won with a time of 3:24.14. The 4x100-meter relay of Lewis, Pasterski, Colin O'Brien and Grandlic won with a time of 43.26 seconds.

Hayden Hoffmann was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:56.60.

Patrick Sweetman placed second in the javelin throw with a distance of 138-10. Lewis was third in 138-4.

Nathan Heppe placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.99. Brennan Beachler was third in the pole vault at 12-11 1/2.
