Vanderlin Qualifies for High Jump at NCAA Outdoor Meet

DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore Nicole Vanderlin has qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Ohio Wesleyan University Thursday through Saturday.

Vanderlin qualified for nationals in the high jump, with a season-high mark of 5 feet 6 inches (1.68 meters). It is the second NCAA meet qualification for Vanderlin, who finished 10th at the NCAA Indoor Meet as a freshman in 2013.

The top seeding in the high jump is Misericordia's Ashlee Ward's 5-8 3/4 (1.75 meters). The women's high jump is set for 1 p.m. CDT Friday.
