St. Norbert Claims Tom Barry Invitational Title

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College had just enough top performances to eke out the men's team championship of the 40th Annual Tom Barry Invitational at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights totaled 65 points to narrowly eclipse Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Raiders finished as the runner-up with 70 points. Lake Forest College was third with 104 points. The College of St. Scholastica's Chris Lawson won the individual title, covering the 4-mile course in 21:05. Wisconsin Lutheran College's Chase Robles was second in 21:20.

Hayden Hoffmann led the Green Knights, finishing in sixth place overall with a time of 21:46. Dan Reigh was 12th with a time of 22:10, followed by Kyle Lochner's 14th-place finish with a time of 22:15.

Sam Holt was 17th overall with a time of 22:22, while Andrew Lemay was 21st at 22:36. Jacob Wittmershaus was 23rd in 22:55, and C.J. Lewis was 59th overall with a time of 25:09.

The St. Norbert College Alumni finished eighth out of nine teams with a total of 171 points. Jeff Pentek's 19th-place overall finish paced the squad, registering a time of 22:27.
