KENOSHA - St. Norbert College scored three first-half goals and made those markers stand up as the Green Knights remained unblemished on the season with a 3-2 win over Carthage College at Art Keller Field.

The Green Knights (4-0) broke open a scoreless game when Tyler Kassube scored his second goal of the season off a Marco Delbecchi assist at the 28:50 mark. Carthage answered with a Michael Dombrowski goal at 34:40, but the Green Knight countered just 10 seconds later when Calian Schrader scored unassisted.

Sean Sladky put the Green Knights ahead 3-1 just 30 seconds before halftime, finishing a ball in the slot with Kassube assisting.

Carthage (2-4), which was 4-1 on the field entering the game before having to forfeit two games due to an ineligible player, pulled to within 3-2 on another goal by Dombrowski at the 58:52 mark. The Red Men could not get the equalizer in the last 30 minutes as St. Norbert held on for the win.

The Red Men outshot St. Norbert 21-8, including 11-5 in the second half. Scott Faul turned in an eight-save performance, while Nick Huftalin made three stops for Carthage.
