Green Knights Remain Unbeaten, Move to 14-0

GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College continued its perfect start to 2008, defeating Knox College in a Midwest Conference volleyball match at Memorial Gym.

The Green Knights doused the Prairie Fire 25-14, 25-14, 25-21 to push to 14-0 this season and 2-0 in the Midwest Conference. Since winning the last three sets against North Central College on Sept. 6, the Green Knights have won 24 consecutive sets.

St. Norbert spread around its offense against Knox. Danielle DeGroot had eight kills, while Katie Casebolt and Sam Jungbluth each added six kills.

Kim Angst posted 12 digs, while Laura Ayello had 17 assists. DeGroot added five digs.

St. Norbert returns to action next weekend when it hosts a pair of Midwest Conference matches Friday against Illinois College and Saturday against Monmouth College at Schuldes Sports Center.
