St. Norbert Starts 2-0 at UW-Eau Claire Tournament

EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College got off to a good start with a pair of wins on the first day of the UW-Eau Claire Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament at McPhee Physical Education Center.

The Green Knights (6-10) opened with a three-set win over Wisconsin Lutheran College 25-18, 25-22, 25-9. St. Norbert then topped Concordia-Moorhead College 18-25, 25-17, 18-25, 25-22, 15-10 to earn its first five-set win of the season.

Breanne Brocker led St. Norbert against Wisconsin Lutheran, posting 10 kills against two errors in 26 attempts. Heidi Spies added seven hills in 13 attempts with no errors, and also have seven blocks. Kaitlin Delahaut finished with 19 assists.

Aubree Antosch and Hannah Johnshoy both had 14 digs. Delahaut, Spies and Brocker all had two service aces apiece.

Spies had 15 kills and eight blocks against Concordia, followed by Brocker with 14 kills and Johnshoy with 11. The Green Knights hit .247 in the match, with 57 kills and 19 errors in 154 attempts. Delahaut set up the offense with 52 assists.

Antosch led the back row with 18 digs, while Delahaut had 16, Brocker 11 and Stephanie Reed 10. Antosch added three service aces.
