Green Knights Fall Twice in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College lost its two matches on the second day of the UW-Eau Claire Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament at McPhee Physical Education Center.

The Green Knights (6-12) lost to No. 20-ranked University of St. Thomas 25-20, 25-23, 25-14 and then lost to host Eau Claire 25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-21.

St. Norbert hit .207 against St. Thomas, with 29 kills in 87 assists with 11 errors. Hannah Johnshoy and Heidi Spies had seven kills apiece. Kaitlin Delahaut totaled 26 assists. Aubree Antosch and Breanne Brocker had 11 digs apiece.

The Green Knights hit .228 (45-15-136) but dropped tight decisions in sets three and four. Johnshoy had 18 kills and 11 digs, while Spies totaled 14 kills. Delahaut had 38 assists.

Antosch, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, had 25 digs. Brocker had a team-high 27 digs.
