St. Norbert Wins Lawrence Gene Davis Invitational

APPLETON - St. Norbert College eked out a win by the slimmest of margins to claim the team championship of the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Municipal Golf Course.

The Green Knights totaled 47 points to nip host Lawrence by one point to win the title. Beloit College was third just three points back with 50 points.

Lisa Baeten won the individual title with a time of 23 minutes 20 seconds, finishing 10 seconds ahead of runner-up Clare Bruning of Lawrence. Erin Artz was seventh overall with a time of 23:47. Alyssa Price was 11th with a time of 24:10.

Charlotte Walsh was 12th with a time of 24:19, and Brittany Kozlowski was 16th with a time of 24:41. Sarah Parbs was 23rd with a time of 24:58, and Malgorzata Waz was 24th with a time of 25:01.
