Schwoerer Named Pre-Season All-American by DIII News

DE PERE - After a strong junior season, St. Norbert College senior forward Andrew Schwoerer was one of the 24 Pre-Season All-American selections named by DIII News.

Schwoerer averaged 15.6 points per game last season, good for third on the team, and was second on the team at 6.2 rebounds per game on his way to second-team All-MWC honors. He enters his senior season with 1,005 career point.

The Green Knights finished 2013-14 with a 25-2 overall record and a perfect 18-0 mark in MWC play, including a 23-game winning streak that spanned from Nov. 26 to March 8, when their season ended in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament against Illinois Wesleyan University.

St. Norbert opens the season at 7 p.m. on Nov. 15 at UW-Oshkosh.
