St. Norbert Wins Third-Straight Match

DE PERE - St. Norbert College won its third consecutive match to open Midwest Conference play with a four-set win over Ripon College at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights topped the Red Hawks 25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 25-18.

The Green Knights (9-12, 3-0 MWC) hit .308 for the match, netting 63 kills with 19 errors in 143 attempts. Anika Johnson had 13 kills with one error in 25 attempts to hit .480. Breanne Brocker posted 19 kills against four errors in 40 attempts, and also had 15 digs. Heidi Spies totaled 16 kills with seven errors in 33 attempts, and had four service aces.

Kaitlin Delahaut finished with 47 assists, eight digs and four service aces. Aubree Antosch matched Brocker with a team-high 15 kills. Hannah Johnshoy added 10 digs and eight kills.

Ripon hit .258, getting 45 kills with 12 errors in 128 attempts. Katie Berrell had a team-high 14 kills, while Abbie Williamson had 33 assists. Allison Barnes finished with 15 digs.
