St. Norbert Falls in Four Sets at Cornell

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - St. Norbert College won the first set against Cornell College put dropped the next three sets to get dealt its first Midwest Conference loss of the season. The Green Knights lost 19-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

The Green Knights (10-13, 4-1 MWC) jumped out to the early lead with 12 kills in the first set, and were also aided by eight Cornell (14-6, 5-0) hitting errors. The Rams took control of the match with a strong second set, getting 16 kills in 33 attempts against three errors.

Breanne Brocker led St. Norbert with 12 kills, while Heidi Spies added 10 kills and three blocks. Aubree Antosch had 16 digs, while Stephanie Reed had 10 digs.

Kaitlin Delahaut had a team-high 33 assists and also had 12 digs.

Diamond Boyd led Cornell with 14 kills.
