St. Norbert Drops Overtime Decision to Lake Forest

DE PERE - Lake Forest College scored a goal in the sixth minute of overtime to lift the visiting Foresters to a 1-0 win over St. Norbert College in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Foresters (5-6-2, 4-0-2 MWC) had an initial shot from Elyas Ingram, which was saved and deflected by St. Norbert goalkeeper Scott Faul. The ball went right to Lake Forest's Ellis Rutili, who finished the rebound at 95:35 for his first goal of the season.

Lake Forest outshot St. Norbert (7-1-2, 1-1-2) by a 20-12 margin in the game, including 11-4 in the second half. Faul made three saves for the Green Knights, while Ian Taylor made three stops for the Foresters.
