Liebelt Takes Medalist Honors at Ripon Invitational

BERLIN - St. Norbert College's Andrea Liebelt won medalist honors at the 2008 Ripon College Co-Ed Invitational at Mascoutin Country Club.

Liebelt's 176 over the two-day, 36-hole event was one stroke better than Carroll University's Stephanie Spengel. Liebelt carded an 85 on Saturday before settling for a 91 on Sunday.

St. Norbert placed fifth in the five-team event, shooting an 830. Carroll won the event with a 737.

Jessica Rogers shot a 209, Stephanie Haines a 219 and Jennifer Ackman a 226 to round out the Green Knights' foursome.
