Green Knights Swept By Foresters

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College lost to Lake Forest College by a 5-1 score for the second consecutive night in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.

The Foresters (2-2, 2-2 NCHA) built a 5-0 lead in the second period on the back of three power-play goals. Morgan Pope scored the first period's lone goal at the 6:33 mark. Emily Wybo then scored a power-play goal at 3:53 of the second period for a 2-0 lead.

Michelle Greeneway added a goal at 6:00 of the second, while Wybo added another power-play goal at 10:42. Melissa Paluch pumped in a power-play goal at 16:08.

Natasha Smith scored her first collegiate goal at 18:36 of the second period on a power-play score, with Katie Conlon assisting.

Lake Forest outshot St. Norbert 45-23. Leigh Grall made 40 saves for St. Norbert, while Allie Carter made 22 stops for the Foresters. Lake Forest was 3-for-8 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 1-for-3.
