St. Norbert Blanked By Bulldogs

DE PERE - St. Norbert College put 33 shots on goal but couldn't find the back of the net in a 2-0 loss to Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights (3-4-1, 1-4-1 NCHA) outshot the No. 10-ranked Bulldogs (5-0-1, 5-0-1) by a 33-26 margin but couldn't get on the scoreboard. Jade Walsh made 33 saves for Adrian to get the shutout, while Leigh Grall made 24 stops in the loss for the Green Knights.

Hannah McGowan scored a power-play goal at the 5:52 mark of the first period, while Kaylyn Schroka added an insurance goal at 5:16 of the third period.

Adrian was 1-for-4 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-2.
