MILWAUKEE -- St. Norbert College stayed in first place in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association with a 4-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering in front of a capacity crowd at Kern Center.

The Green Knights (14-1-2, 10-0-1 NCHA), ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com and D3hockey.com polls, took the early lead in a game telecast to a statewide cable television audience.

St. Norbert jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Cullen Bradshaw's shot crept through MSOE goaltender Nick Kohn's five hole, and Tyler Zepeda flicked the puck past the goal line at the 4:59 mark.

The Green Knights killed off a five-minute major penalty against Blake Thompson late in the first period, bridging into the second period. MSOE (10-8, 5-6) then put St. Norbert on a 5-on-3 power-play just after the midway point of the second. Michael Hill registered his 16th goal of the season with a 5-on-3 power-play goal at 11:35.

St. Norbert pulled away when Ross Pavek scored a 4-on-4 goal at the 11:57 mark of the third period. The Raiders scored their only goal of the game with a late power-play goal by Omar Mullen with 3:08 remaining. St. Norbert closed out the scoring with an empty-net goal by Mason Baptista with 1:02 to go.

Cullen Bradshaw assisted on the first two goals to give him 121 points, tying him with Rob Garofolo for tenth place on St. Norbert's career scoring list. Hill added an assist for a two-point game.

St. Norbert outshot MSOE 39-22. David Jacobson made 21 saves for the Green Knights, while Nick Kohn turned away 35 shots for the Raiders. Both teams were 1-for-5 on the power play.
