Hill, Pasterski Lead St. Norbert at Monmouth Open

MONMOUTH, Ill. - Randy Hill and Taylor Pasterski picked up individual event titles as St. Norbert College competed at the Monmouth College Open at Huff Center. The meet was unscored.

Hill took home first place in the triple jump, registering a distance of an even 44 feet. Hill was also fourth in the high jump with a height of 6 feet 1/2 inch.

Pasterski turned in a time of 49.60 seconds in the 400-meter dash to win that race by 1.2 seconds. His time currently ranks in the top 15 of Division III times. Pasterski was eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.71 seconds.

The 4x200-meter relay team of Akeem Edmonds, Austin Livingston, Jack Feuerstein and Ryan Grandlic finished second in a time of 1:32.39. The 4x400-meter relay of Pasterski, Livingston, Tyler Lewis and Grandlic was also second in 3:23.62.

Hayden Hoffmann was third in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:32.25. Dominic DiBenedetto was third in the shot put with a heave of 45-11 3/4. Evan Broyles placed third in the weight throw with a distance of 51-1 1/2.

Dan Sisler was fourth in the long jump with a distance of 21-2. Andrew Jacobson followed in fifth at 21-1 1/4, while Kevin Schlichter was seventh at 20-5.

Livingston was fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.68. Feuerstein was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.86 seconds.

Brad Boockmeier was sixth in the high jump at 6-0 1/2. Jacob Wittmershaus was seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:32.45. Grandlic placed seventh in the triple jump at 40-11.
