Grzesk, Schwoerer Honored by NABC

DE PERE - St. Norbert College earned two honors on the Division III All-Midwest Region team selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Senior forward Andrew Schwoerer was a first-team All-Region selection, while coach Gary Grzesk was named Midwest Region Coach of the Year.

Schwoerer's honor matches his All-Region honor from D3hoops.com. Schwoerer was the 2015 Co-Midwest Conference Player of the Year, averaging a team-high 16.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Schwoerer finished with 1,439 career points to stand sixth on St. Norbert's career scoring list.

Grzesk earned his third NABC Midwest Region Coach of the Year honor, with his previous two coming in 2010 and 2014. Grzesk skippered the Green Knights to a 24-2 record and a second-consecutive 18-0 record in the Midwest Conference. Grzesk owns a 169-58 record in nine seasons at St. Norbert, and has led the Green Knights to five MWC titles. The Green Knights are 128-29 in the last six seasons.
