St. Norbert Finishes Third at Twilight

DE PERE - St. Norbert College placed third in its home opener at the St. Norbert Twlight at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights totaled 38 points on a 5-3-1 scoring system. NCAA Division II Michigan Tech University won the meet with 59 points, while Ripon College was second with 39 points.

Ryan Grandlic won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.56 seconds. Randy Hill won the long jump with a distance of 21-3 1/4 inches, while Dan Sisler claimed the javelin throw with a toss of 149 feet even.

Both St. Norbert relays took first place. The 4x100-meter relay finished with a time of 43.32 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay registered a time of 3:22.03.

Austin Livingston was second in the 200-meter dash in 22.60 seconds. Tyler Lewis was second in the 400-meter dash in 49.43 seconds, while Akeem Edmonds was second in the 800-meter run at 1:59.47.

Colin O'Brien was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.65 seconds. Michael Heise ws third in the 1,500-meter run in 4:33.61. Brad Boockmeier placed third in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.54 seconds. Andrew Jacobson was third in the long jump at 20-0 1/4.
