Green Knights Drop Two Midwest Conference Duals

DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a pair of Midwest Conference dual matches, falling 7-2 to Lake Forest College on the outdoor courts at West De Pere High School before moving inside for a 6-3 loss to Carroll University at Four Seasons Tennis Club.

St. Norbert (5-10, 3-4 MWC) won one doubles match against Lake Forest - an 8-5 triumph for Leon Gilman and Casey Brice over Mike Riley and Dragan Trivanovic at No. 2. Robert Quinlan and Ben Vande Zande lost a tough 9-8 (13-11) decision to Ellis Lora-Arceo and Nick Rehm at No. 3.

Nate Gosz defeated John Snider 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 at No. 2 singles. Travis Buechel lost a three-set match to the Foresters' Dan Pivonka 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

Against Carroll, Buechel and Gosz defeated Jack Michael and Peter Jaeger 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Gilman beat Quentin Lamers 3-6, 7-5, 10-8 at No. 3 singles, while Quinlan defeated Eric Schneider 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
