Klegin Named to ABCA All-Central Region Third Team

DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore infielder Derek Klegin was selected to the All-Central Region third team by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings.

Klegin, a Marinette native, finished with a .354 batting average, two home runs and 16 runs batted in. Klegin also posted a team-high 14 doubles, 21 stolen bases and 33 runs scored. He finished with 71 total bases and fielded .948 at shortstop, committing only 10 errors in 192 chances.

The Green Knights finished this season 20-18 and finished third overall in the Midwest Conference.
