Day 5 (5/23/15) - The St. Norbert College men's basketball team traveled to the lovely city of Toledo today. Toledo was once the capital of Spain and is still considered one of the oldest cities in Europe. Throughout Toledo we viewed many magnificent landscapes and buildings, including a cathedral. The construction of the cathedral began in the 13th century, and it is a great example of medieval Spain. Personally, I believe Toledo had some of the most amazing views we have witnessed so far.

After, the team departed from Toledo and returned to downtown Madrid for free time. The players and coaches again enjoyed a wide variety of cuisines, and were also allowed to shop. At one point, Coach Grzesk was seen wearing a scarf and there is photo evidence.

Lastly, the players enjoyed their last night in downtown Madrid.

Day 6 (5/24/15) - Today the team had a long journey from Madrid to Barcelona, and the long night made it a struggle for some. Along the way, we stopped at the beautiful Zaragoza for lunch and some free time. At Zaragoza, the team saw another beautiful cathedral.

After departing from Zaragoza, the team arrived at Barcelona later in the afternoon. Nothing was scheduled for the first night in Barcelona, so many of the players and coaches relaxed and/or walked around the streets near the hotel.
