St. Norbert Falls to Nationally Ranked Foes

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College battled a pair of Top 25 teams in Division III volleyball, but fell in three sets to both UW-Oshkosh and UW-Stevens Point at Berg Gym.

The Green Knights faced No. 24-ranked UW-Oshkosh first before losing 25-17, 25-21, 25-22. St. Norbert then squared off with No. 5-rated UW-Stevens Point, succumbing 25-21, 26-24, 25-11.

Halie Ferry led St. Norbert with 16 kills against Oshkosh, and had only three errors in 38 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy added six kills, while Justice Janke and Anika Johnson had five kills apiece. The Green Knights hit .101 (36-24-129) as a team.

Kaitlin Delahaut had 20 assists, and Aubree Antosch totaled 26 digs and three service aces.

Against Stevens Point, St. Norbert battled the Pointers in the first two sets before totaling only six kills in the third set. The Green Knights hit .080 in the match, with 31 kills and 22 errors in 113 attempts.

Ferry led St. Norbert with nine kills and Johnshoy added seven. Delahaut had a team-high 15 assists.

Antosch finished with 13 digs, while Ferry added 10 digs and two service aces.
