St. Norbert Grinds Out Win Over UW-River Falls

RIPON - St. Norbert College picked up a five-set win over UW-River Falls and then dropped a non-conference tilt with Ripon College at the Ripon College Tournament at Storzer Center.

The Green Knights (4-10) beat River Falls 25-7, 19-25, 25-20, 17-25, 15-12 before losing to Ripon 26-24, 25-19, 25-17.

St. Norbert hit .296 against River Falls, getting 58 kills against 16 errors in 142 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy led the Green Knights with 15 kills, while Kristina Herman added 11 kills. Erin Lang and Anika Johnson had nine kills apiece.

Kaitlin Delahaut had 29 assists for the Green Knights, while Lauren Lehman added 13 assists. Aubree Antosch finished with 36 digs. Justice Janke added 10 digs.

The Green Knights hit .142 against Ripon, with 40 kills and 22 errors in 127 attempts. Johnshoy had a team-high 11 kills. Hanna Strohm finished with 22 assists, while Emily Kapalko added 17 assists.

Stephanie Reed had a team-high 11 digs, while Mckenzie Mazzolini and Jaisah Lee had 10 digs apiece.

Johnshoy was named to the All-Tournament Team.
