DE PERE - St. Norbert College began Midwest Conference play for the 2015 season with a 4-0 win over Beloit College at Schneider Stadium.

St. Norbert (4-2-1, 1-0 MWC) needed almost 39 minutes to break through on the scoreboard, but took the lead on a pretty goal at the 38 minutes 38 seconds mark. Robert Quinlan's cross through the box found Marco Delbecchi on the back post, who headed it in for a 1-0 lead.

The Green Knights wasted little time in the second half taking control of the game. Delbecchi and Griffin Hoerchner had a passing combination that found Tyler Kassube at point-blank range for an easy finish just 36 seconds into the half and a 2-0 edge.

Kassube then sent a cross through the box that Beloit failed to clear, and Delbecchi headed it in for a 3-0 lead at 50:14. Drew Checolinski then had a header off a rebound from a Joe Fabich drive at 69:29 for the game's final goal.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 18-2. Eddie Sanchez made two saves in 74:10 of action, while Tim Fox did not face a shot in 15:50 of relief. Jere Bauer took the loss for the Buccaneers, making six saves in just over 72 minutes.
