DE PERE - Jessica Schadrie tied the St. Norbert College record for goals in a season with the Green Knights' 5-1 win over Monmouth College in a Midwest Conference game at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

Schadrie netted a hat trick against the Scots, her third of the season. Schadrie, who has 11 goals in her last six games, now has 21 goals on the season, matching Sara Gross' season output from 2002.

St. Norbert improved to 10-6-1 overall and 7-1 in the MWC, while Monmouth fell to 5-6-3, 2-3-1.

Rachelle Barina scored the game's first goal at 16:16. Caitlin Carrigan had a set ball from just inside midfield and put the ball in front of the goal, where Barina headed it into a wide-open net for her fifth goal of the year.

Schadrie took a pass from Barina and spun around a defender for her 19th goal of the season at 18:59. Jenni Jacobson then added her seventh goal of the year at 24:22 on an odd-man rush with Stephanie Gatyas assisting. Monmouth's Emily Shoemaker scored at 41:49 for a 3-1 halftime score.

Schadrie then added the Green Knights' two second-half goals, netting markers at 75:13 and 83:34.

Monmouth outshot St. Norbert 14-10, including 8-4 in the second half when it had the wind at its back. Mallory Ford made four saves for the Green Knights, while Sarah Wintersteen had three saves for the Scots.
