St. Norbert Remains Unbeaten Against Lawrence

DE PERE - St. Norbert College moved to 49-0 all-time in women's volleyball against Lawrence University with a 3-0 win in a Midwest Conference match at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Green Knights (23-2, 7-0 MWC) won the 50-minute match by scores of 25-7, 25-21, 25-14. St. Norbert led 6-0 in the first set and held off the Vikings in the second set before handily winning the third set.

St. Norbert hit a robust .307 for the match, posting 38 kills against seven errors in 101 attempts. Katie Casebolt had nine kills against two errors in 29 attempts, while Sarah Sulentic added eight kills in 16 attempts with just one error. Joanna Mamayek had seven kills in 10 attempts while playing in just two games. Sam Jungbluth also had an efficient night with seven kills in 15 attempts.

Amy Perszyk had 18 assists while Laura Ayello had 11 assists. Kim Angst posted a team-high 10 digs from the back row. Sulentic added three blocks.

Lawrence (3-23, 1-6 MWC) had 24 kills with 16 errors in 92 attempts for an .087 hitting percentage. Clare Bohrer and Melissa Schnettler had seven kills apiece.
