DE PERE - St. Norbert College's men's soccer team closed out Midwest Conference play with its eighth-straight victory, posting a 1-0 win over Lawrence University at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

The Green Knights, who wrap up the regular season Sunday, Oct. 26 at Dominican University, improved to 13-4 overall and 8-1 in the MWC. Lawrence fell to 6-10-1, 5-3-1.

Adam Sanchez scored the game's only goal at 72:23 of the match. Ben Vanden Avond played in a long crossing pass from the left sideline, where it was played by Eric Natwick. Natwick flicked the ball in front of the goal, where it was played in by Sanchez for his 15th goal of the season.
