BELOIT - St. Norbert College had about as good a start as you can have in a road game and used it as the impetus behind an 86-60 win over Beloit College in a Midwest Conference game at Flood Arena.

The Green Knights (11-2, 8-0 MWC), ranked No. 23 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, won for the 52nd consecutive time against a Midwest Conference opponent.

St. Norbert jumped out to leads of 12-0 and 20-4 to take control. Tim Marshall and Terrence Garner both had a pair of baskets during the Green Knights' initial run, with Seth Taylor's layup at the 13:01 mark giving the Green Knights a 12-0 lead. Ben Bobinski's hoop with 10:19 left
in the half but St. Norbert ahead 20-4, with Beloit going 1-for-11 from the floor in that stretch.

Beloit got to within 14 at 23-9 but St. Norbert slowly built its lead up to 45-19 with 3:01 left in the half on a basket by Brian Luteyn. Garner's basket at the end of the half sent the Green Knights into the locker room ahead 49-28.

St. Norbert went ahead by 31 with 14:39 remaining on a D.J. DeValk jumper for a 63-32 lead. The Green Knights never led by less than 23 points the rest of the way.

The Green Knights shot 52.4 percent (33-for-63) from the floor and outrebounded the Buccaneers 45-23. Taylor led the Green Knights with 17 points off the bench. Bobinski added 16 points and Garner had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Steve McAfee led Beloit with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Andrew Bremner added 11 points. The Buccaneers shot 35.3 percent (18-for-51) from the floor and were 24.0 percent (6-for-25) from beyond the three-point arc.
