Green Knights Win St. Norbert Invitational

WRIGHTSTOWN - St. Norbert College won its own 36-hole invitational in an eight-team field held at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links.
The Green Knights posted a 300-310--610 to finish 11 strokes ahead of Carroll University, which shot a 311-310--621. Lake Forest College was third with a 316-307--623.
St. Norbert's Nick Mueller and Joe Scherer finished tied for first with Lake Forest's Ricky Schmidt. Mueller finished with a 74-77--151 while Scherer carded a 73-78--151. Schmidt finished with a 76-75--151.
Ben Socha tied for eighth place with a 77-78--155. Alex Okray was tied for 12th place with a 79-77--156, while Tony Arnold was tied for 18th place with a 76-84--160.
The St. Norbert "B" team finished in sixth place with a 314-329--643. Isaiah Harmison was the top player on that squad, finishing in a tie for 14th place with a 78-79--157. Ben Bobinski finished in 17th place with a 75-83--158. Luke Karakas tied for 20th place with a 77-85--162.
The St. Norbert "C" quintet finished in seventh place with a 341-329--670. Adam Rohde finished in a tie for 23rd place with an 81-83--164.
