DES MOINES, Iowa - St. Norbert College's 4x400-meter relay set a school record with its performance in its preliminary heat at the 107th Annual Drake Relays at Drake Stadium.

The Green Knights turned in a time of 3:12.39 to qualify for Saturday's final in the College 4x400-meter relay event. The relay final is set to be run at 4:07 p.m. Saturday.

Jon Gregory, Austin Livingston, Ryan Grandlic and Tyler Lewis are the foursome on the relay. Their performance topped the previous record of 3:12.54, which was good for a fourth-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship. Livingston, Grandlic and Lewis joined Taylor Pasterski in that quartet.

Indiana Tech owns the best time heading into Saturday's final with a 3:10.31. The Green Knights, seeded seventh, have the third-best time among NCAA Division III teams in the final grouping.
