Green Knights 4x400 Breaks School Record Again at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa - St. Norbert College's 4x400-meter relay set a school record for the second consecutive day at the 107th Annual Drake Relays at Drake Stadium.

The Green Knights' foursome of Jon Gregory, Austin Livingston, Ryan Grandlic and Tyler Lewis turned in a time of 3:12.26, eclipsing their preliminary time Friday of 3:12.39.

The relay finished fifth in the college flight. Oklahoma Baptist won the race with a time of 3:11.38. The Green Knights had the best time among Division III teams in the race, finishing behind two NAIA and two NCAA Division II schools.

Meanwhile, the Green Knights also hosted an invitational at Schneider Stadium. St. Norbert finished in fourth place out of seven teams with 100 points. UW-Stevens Point won with 202 points.

Colin O'Brien finished in second place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.07 seconds.

Frank Scandin and Tristin Marx finished tied for second place in the pole vailt at 13 feet 1 1/2 inches.

Tyler Lemens finished third in the triple jump at 40-2 1/4, while Ben Behling was third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:47.65.
