St. Norbert Finishes Fourth at MWC Championship

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in fourth place at the 2016 Midwest Conference Men's Golf Championship at Aldeen Golf Course.

The Green Knights scored 320-317-328--965 over the 54-hole event. Carroll University won the conference title with a 303-298-320--921, while the Pioneers' Henry Mulvey won the individual championship with a 71-69-85--225 to finish nine-over par.

Tony Arnold and Nick Mueller turned in St. Norbert's top performances as part of a tie for 14th place. Arnold carded a 78-83-82--243, while Mueller fashioned an 82-78-83--243.

Ben Socha finished in a tie for 19th place with an 84-78-82--244. Ben Bobinski was tied for 22nd place at 79-83-83--245 along with Joe Scherer, who shot an 85-79-81--245.

Alex Okray finished in 25th place with an 81-82-83--246.
